Hmm.. I think you need audioboo more than this.. especially if it's going to keep it below five minutes.. Have a listen back.. I reckon you could say what you needed in 3 mins.. That said.. I have a 20 minute Audioboo account and before that had a 30 min one..! (it's a sample pro account) coming soon.

I think we need more bite sized media.. We are absorbing more and more.. I listen to more Boo's on the go through my ipod than i do on the site.

It's true enough I ramble, and while this was only a test post it raises an interesting point: What would you say is a preferred podcast length you'd be inclined to listen to?

When i first started podcasting it was all i did.. I would make 30min up to one hour podcasts.. Now i only realy listen to podcasts 20 mins and below and in those podcasts there may be one or two really insightful points that i am inspired by.. The only ones i listen two that are longer keep me laughing all the way through.

I think this is why i like audioboo so much.. i subscribe to a few in my itunes feed and know that when i listen they could be from 10 second posts up to (normally) 5 mins.. This means i get to enjoy more media from more people and when i fillow over 3000, i feel this is important.

So in a nut.. The shorter the better unless you are only doing it for yourself or you know you have gold.

Quite often i record audio to have a rant to vent rather than to share. I should really have a different account for those kind of days.. :) One I don't care if anyone listens to..

I think this is pretty much where I'm at. I think I need to go through the motions first before I'm happy producing concise shorter posts on the fly. I've always ended up throwing up walls to stop myself from blogging in the past because I'm such a bloody perfectionist ;¬P I should just let loose and then try to tame the beast rather than be sat with an empty website and all the content bottled up in my head endlessly frustrating me like it is right now! >.<

If you are a perfectionist.. do not start editing your stuff.. It will never be 'ok'.. :) I used to take hours doing 'proper' podcasts.. and i was still not happy with them :)

I think for now I'm going to proceed with Posterous podcasting until current time/technical limitations with AudioBoo have been improved :)

Thanks for the advice.
